On the palate, this wine possesses great complexity: fatness, volume, but also plenty of freshness and a silky touch. Château Couhins 2018 has a beautiful dark purple color. Intense and expressive, the aromatic bouquet reveals beautiful black fruit notes with aromas of black cherry and raspberry, evolving onto spicy and licorice notes. Fresh menthol notes follow, reflecting the typicality of the Graves terroir. The palate is full and generous, with a deliciously velvety texture. The palate is structured by chewy, perfectly integrated tannins of great finesse. With elegance and freshness, the wine's evolution on the palate continues through to a persistent, fruity finish.
